Team Pibble 2008: Woot! Woot! Woof!

Team Pibble here. Woohoo! We finished the Folsom International Triathlon, our fundraiser for the Ambassadog Project over at Oakland Animal Services. Your contributions are going to make such a difference in the daily quality of life for these dogs. We cannot thank so many of you enough for your generous contributions!

And a screamy, extra-affectionate thanks to the pittie in a tutu Miss Clover and her family for coming out to win fans on the sidelines and to cheer us through the race. You made it SO fun!!

Hopefully those Shelter dogs will have some better days.

  2. Congrat's Team Pibble,

Best thing about the finish was the vid with Stella. What a sweet girl! What a great E-Bay concept to plant grass. Seriously, my OEL says you got to be there to see it, those wood chips have to go. The only thing good about them is they match Jelly-Rolls coat.

BTW, hope the WEB page stays alive to sell those Team PitBull apparel which get rave reviews (some 'elephant' folks wanted to be Alaska Team PitBull supporter.) Even if not to chronicling more training, maybe to post some some more song mixes.

Stella, mt OE forgot to leave your hockey pull-toy in E-Bay. Make sure you pick-up your set of thank you notecards of the Bull-Mark models. We got them in the mail right before Ike.

Keeping my big-head out of the wind and rain so check-back, Boris

  4. YAY Team Pibble!

I was watching the video, then looking at the credits, and holy whales, my name was in them......

I guess it was due to all the telepathic positive energy I was sending you all the way from Ohio! Glad you felt the good vibes!

Or maybe it was the two T shirts I bought from the website??

Miss AriMarie, the PitMix, wants me to tell you that she is SOOOOO pround of all of you - a feeling I share. She will be buying a couple T-shirts later today. I'm crying like an idiot, and she wants to know why, when this is such a GOOD THING! Isn't she smart? Seriously, you ladies ROCK!
Love - Jean, AriMarie, DasherDoodle and the cats

No one in our house is more greatful to you for what you have done than Miss Osa Mae. She too is a pit rescue, and all dogs-pit or otherwise-should be as loved as her! Great job ladies! You should be as proud of yourselves as we all are of you!

Whoa! That was a great vid...made a tri actually look like FUN! Congrats on the massive effort that went into training and actually participating in it, and the nice payoff at the end. You've done a wonderful thing for the pit kids. The little pittie ballerina was superb!
